Signs and symptoms of liver cancer
Often  do not show signs and symptoms of liver cancer until the later stages  of the disease , but in some cases may appear sooner . If  you go to the doctor when you first notice symptoms , the cancer can be  diagnosed earlier , when it is most likely to be useful treatment. These hormones may cause :High  levels of calcium in the blood ( hypercalcemia ) , which can cause  problems , nausea , confusion , constipation , weakness, or muscleLow levels of blood sugar (hypoglycemia), which can cause fatigue or faintingBreast enlargement ( gynecomastia ) and / or shrinking of the testicles in menHigh counts of red blood cells ( erythrocytosis ) that could cause someone to look red and surveyHigh cholesterol levelsMany of the signs and symptoms of liver cancer can also be caused by other conditions , including liver problems other . Can be found in liver cancer early?
It is often difficult to find a liver cancer because early signs and symptoms often do not show up in stages at a later date . Doctors  could do tests to look for liver cancer if the patient with cirrhosis  of the liver is getting worse for no apparent reason .For  people most at risk for cancer of the liver due to cirrhosis of the  liver ( from any cause ) or other circumstances , most doctors recommend  liver cancer screening every 6 to 12 months with alpha -fetoprotein (  AFP ) blood tests and ultrasound examinations. But it is not yet clear if the results of the count in a more effective treatment for liver cancer .
